Welcome to Girton Sailing Club
|
|
Whether you are an experienced sailor or new to sailing, a racer or a cruiser, you will enjoy dinghy sailing on our beautiful 90 acre lake and our excellent facilities.
Racing runs from the beginning of March to Boxing Day and includes Youth and Novice Racing, Championship, Handicap and Pursuit Racing as well as Regional Competitions.
Training programs are run throughout the year leadingto qualifications including Sail Training, Race training, First Aid and Power Boat training.

The Social Diary organisers work hard to provide fun and entertainment on and off the water throughout the year. |

| In Memory Trish Hudson - Monday, January 25, 2010It is with further sadness that I bring to you news of another passing of a former member of Girton Sailing Club and yet again such a key figure in the clubs history. Trish died suddenly in the new year and leaves a Husband, Children, Foster Children and Grandchildren along with many friends and memories. Trish was involved in the building of Girton Sailing Club to the stature it has today, whilst supporting her husband John and children, Marcus and Guy on the water. |
| In Memory of Stuart John - Tuesday, January 05, 2010On Monday 4th January, the Funeral of Stuart John took place. He died suddenly over Christmas Stuart was a former member of Girton Sailing Club during the 80's and 90's and was a muched liked and admired person.
